According to Google the definition of a Paleo Diet is "anything we could hunt or gather way back in the day - things like meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, regional veggies and seeds. Sorry, the pasta, cereal, and candy will have to go!" (it actually says that lol)
We all have very busy lives, work, friends, pets, housework, blog writing etc... I have to cut corners to find time to try and eat right.
I am not a purist, but I try my best in my own cray-cray way. Here is a spinach salad which I used olive tapenade, a very tasty concoction that I bought in my local grocery store as a substitute for "salad dressing". No, I didn't go gathering olives and squeeze the oil to make it BUT like I said, I try. I am not in a position at this time to raise my own chickens and gather their eggs so I bought this chicken leg, nicely done up for me by Tom's Grocery in Bowser. A fresh tomato for garnish with organic seasonings..and WALAH..lunch in 5 minutes!
Yes, this is a real picture of what I actually made..I took the picture too!
