10 Day Juice Challenge September 25th 2019

This juice challenge is meant for people who have experience with juicing. This is not a beginners challenge. 

 

September 25th

 

Eat only Fruits and Vegetables All Day. Make them organic whenever possible. No dairy, no breads (or any other baked goods, of any type), no meats. If you are a coffee drinker I highly suggest to cut down on the coffee but not to cut it out completely. If you do, you might experience a headache of varying degrees according to how much coffee you drink everyday. Slowly cut the coffee out as you continue on your fasting journey. Herbal teas are fine throughout the ten days.  

Nothing but fruits and vegetables and you can eat as many as you like! Cooked or raw. I usually make a big pot of vegetable soup and eat that throughout most of the first day.

This prepares your body to start cleansing.

 

September 26th

Again, only fruits and vegetables but try to make them all or mostly raw. Herbal teas are fine, water with lemon. (always organic)

 

September 27th

Last day of eating! Lots of fruits and vegetables, only raw.

 

Go shopping for your recipes. Clear the fridge and cupboards out of any temptations. There are many recipes on Joe Cross's website. Check them out here. www.rebootwithjoe.com/recipes

 

Choose your favorite recipes, according to your tastes. 

 

September 28th

First day of juicing! I like to make enough for three days at a time, kept in a glass jar, in the fridge and covered. Some people like to make each recipe one at a time. For each "meal" you will have a glass of juice. In between you can drink as much water, herbal tea and lemon water as you like. 

 

September 29th

Continue for the next 9 days as above using your favorite recipes.

 

October 8th

Break the fast gently by continuing with your juicing but instead have an orange for dinner. A big fat juicy organic orange. It will be the best orange you ever tasted!

 

October 9th

Today you can introduce another orange for lunch, and a salad for dinner. Remember to keep the salad dairy, meat and nut free.

 

October 10th

Now your body is ready to eat. You can introduce eggs for breakfast, salad for lunch and a light cooked meal.

 

Congratulations on doing your ten day fast!! Please post before and after pictures if you feel comfortable. I love to see the results. I will also be posting before and after pics on Instagram, which comes through to Facebook.

 

Remember that it is normal to have flu like symptoms during the fast. Your body will be cleaning and detoxing so symptoms are going to occur. Headaches, body aches, and withdrawal symptoms are all normal. This usually occurs during the first few days, then you will start to feel more energy.
