Day 5...Halfway There!

So...day 5 and I am halfway there...biggest symptom so far is the brain fog..wow..super hard to concentrate..I have to have laser focus to get anything done..but of course I do!!

 

Day 4 was a bit of a rough day..PMS? or just really emotional, not sure. I just was. Crying and nightmares and such, feeling blue would be putting it mildly I think. But I know from experience with this fasting stuff that its par for the course..."set sail and due north!" The captain said. And so I shall.

 

Drinking lots of water is soooo important through all of this because I know that my body is cleaning. AND DUMPING! It's all good. Lots of water helps my body to flush out the stuff that my body is releasing. A few minor symptoms? my own tongue tastes metallic, I stink to high heaven when I am going number two and my eyes are itchy and watery, none of which is normal for me. Even my underarms smell a little "musky". Also, all good. 

 

No dairy. No meat. No processed food. Raw as much as possible.

 

Here is my dinner tonight. Today I just had the leftovers from my 
guacamole plate for lunch. I didn't eat until 2:20 today because I was so busy and I really wasn't that hungry. Also good news and good progress. When fasting on vegetable/fruit juice your hunger should subside after just a few days. So that was day four, not bad.

 

Dinner Prep

 

Tomato and Basil Sauce Simmering..Yummmm

 Organic Tomato Basil Sauce

2 tbsp Olive Oil

5 Tomatoes, Chopped Roughly

5 Mushrooms, Finely Sliced

1/2 Red Bell Pepper, Finely Chopped

2 Sprigs Fresh Basil

2 Sprigs Fresh Oregano

1 Thich Slice of Red Onion, Finely Diced

1 Clove Fresh Garlic, Crushed and Finely Chopped

Himalayan Pink Salt, To Taste

 

Warm olive oil and add all chopped veggies. Sauté quickly and turn heat down to simmer until tender. Serve over zucchini "noodles" of your choice. Serves two. Enjoy.

 

Remember that all these ingredients are organic!!
